2nd International Day of Yoga 2016

Brief Report on 2nd International Day of Yoga 2016 In compliance of circular no Acad-17/2016 dated 18.05.2016 from the secretary, central board of secondary education, Delhi, 2nd International Day of Yoga was celebrated with great zeal in lions’ DAV Public School, Akaltara on 21-06-2016 (Tuesday). A group of teachers & students (STD. VI onwards) participated in the celebration. At the out set, Mr. Pankaj Bharati (Principal highlighted the magical benefits of Yoga on our body. He asked all the concerned to include yoga in day to day life. He further added if yoga is made an integral part of our life, we can keep our body disease free. The students performed asanas under supervision of Mr. D.K. Behera (PET) & Ms. Nirmala Sharma (PET). The group of participants performed the activities activerly. On this occasion the students took an oath as well to include Yoga in their routine life.
